I'm sure I don't need to reiterate my love of Costco shopping, but here I am again, extolling its virtues. Here are a few more things I've learned about my favorite store recently that make me love it even more.
--I just discovered you can buy discount iTunes cards there. This is a big thing for me, as I spend alot of my "entertainment" money on music and audiobooks, so even a little savings goes a long way. This, combined with my ingenious strategy for recycling my spare change into music and some awesome iTunes gift cards I got for Christmas/ my birthday, might mean that I'm covered for iTunes for the rest of the year.
--I mentioned awhile back that they're selling Starbucks cards there, but did you know you can also buy stamps, gift cards for restaurants, and even things like gym memberships there. So, if you're still thinking you can only buy cases of bulk mayonnaise at Costco, you are incorrect. They now have alot of stuff that will make the cost of your everyday living cheaper, and that is just awesome.
--This is more of an overall courtesy/ appreciation line item, but Costco recently left me a voicemail about the peanut butter/ salmonella recall, indicating that some ZonePerfect bars I had bought were recalled, and I should bring them back, which of course I did the next day. They refunded my full purchase price, and apologized for the inconvenience. Of course, they didn't need to apologize, because I was so grateful to them for keeping me from eating tainted protein bars, but nice just the same.
