Hey, did you know that Starbucks and iTunes have teamed up to give away one free song per week? I think they're doing this to promote new artists/ albums, but it's always good to get something for free, right? I don't know if they have this available in all Starbucks, but I've definitely seen it all over Los Angeles. Check your local Starbucks every Tuesday for the "Pick of the Week" card, or get more information here.
I always take the card and download it, just to check the artist out. Sometimes I totally like it and end up buying the rest of the album (with my credit from my recycled change, of course), and sometimes-- not so muich. Either way, it's free, so you can't go wrong. If you're into music at all, you can get more free music by signing up for the iTunes free download, and there's still more free downloadage at the Indie 103.1 website (they just went off the air as a commercial station, but they still exist as an Internet station, and you should check them out!)
